Raila Responds To Foes Challenging His "MADE IN KENYA "products Agenda
ODM Party leader Raila Odinga on Wednesday, 21 July accepted the challenge from political and friends foes questioning his agenda of having Made in Kenya Products.
Through the press statement, the Orange Democratic Movement leader accepted the challenge from his opponents and highlighted skills and products from rural Kenya that require only little support to lead to purely homegrown made in Kenya products.
Using Kwale as a case study, the former prime minister stated that communities in Kenya have diverse skills that only require little input in sharpening to avail the made in Kenya Products.
He, in addition, highlighted some major problems affecting the local young industries including cheap market or no market at all, lack of support from the local and national government, and lack of investment in the industries.
I was challenged to explain my position that we can have MADE IN KENYA products if we focused on transforming rural areas and developing SKILLS.

I have accepted that challenge and, today, I will pick just what one county has that we could develop.

The breakdown in his agenda comes few days after the ODM leader publicized the agenda that raised the eyebrows of his political foes.
