Raila`s Promise to Kibera

Kibera is popularly known as Raila`s "political bedroom." The Azimio la Umoja leader has promised to build the slum area when he retires. While speaking on a brief meeting, Raila has told his supporters that they would give him a piece of land where he will build.
The former Kibera MP has described Kibera as "The Face Of Kenya," since it carries a mix of communities.
"Kibra ni Sura ya Kenya. Hakuna mtu hayuko Kibra. Mimi ni mtu wa Kibera, nimekua mbunge hapa kwa miaka ishirini," Raila said.
Raila`s visit to Kibera comes days after a Church and a Mosque got torched from the Azimio demonstrations on Monday night. One of the business men, identified as John, was among those who counted huge loses after his business cought fire. John says he lost around 3.9 Million.
Raila has maintained his bi_weekly demos, every Thursday and Monday.
