Rapist in Kitui Defiles and Poisons Two Minor Girls, One Dies on Her Way to the Hospital
The suspect behind the heinous act is yet to be arrested.

Two minor age girls were on Monday night sexually defiled after an unknown assailant stormed into their home in Thitha, Kitui county. The abuser further poisoned the two aged 2 and 17 years.
Unfortunately, the younger girl lost her battle while being rushed to the hospital. According to the 17-year-old victim, the abuser broke into the house prompting her to scream.
The man then choked her until she passed out. On regaining her conscience, she found a pesticide pack lying there. She suspected that the assailant forced himself on her before turning to her young sister.
She then informed their mother who quickly rushed them to the hospital but unfortunately, the youngest succumbed before arriving at the facility.
A medic at Mwingi Level 4 revealed that indeed the survivor sustained sexual assault injuries. Her condition is reported to be improving, given the dangerous situation she was in when admitted.
