Users of Waiyaki- Way complain of the rise in theft especially at the Westands roundabout.

An increased case of snatching and theft has been reported especially at the Westlands roundabout which is half-blocked. The spot has become a place of interest after observation of continous snatching.
Witnesses have revealed that the snatching happens during rush hours, when people are going to or coming from work.
The thugs are said to be targeting both motorists and pedestrians. One of the witnesses revealed how she saw a motorist being snatched a chain from a motorist that almost chocked him.
The concerns from the residents have had them pleading for the police to be stationed around the place for tighter security.
