Robbers Assault And Steal From Police Officer
A police officer identified as Constable Felix Nyachio was attacked by unidentified people on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at the bus terminal in Nairobi's CBD.

The officer assigned to the Rhamu Police station was beaten and injured by the attackers who stole a phone, a driving license, and a national identification card from him.
He is currently recovering from his wounds and receiving medical care as the police continue with investigation into the attack.
The officer sustained several injuries including a fractured tooth, a head injury, and injuries to his left eye.
This occurs two days after two robbery suspects attacked an officer working at the DCI headquarters in Shirika Estate in Nairobi's Eastleigh neighborhood on Friday, August 26,2022.
According to a police report the attacked, Constable Abubakar Omar was walking towards his house from the mosque with the company of his friend when they were attacked by two robbers on a motorcycle.
One of the robbers had a pistol in his hand and took the officer's mobile phone, a Samsung A23 worth Ksh 25,000, a wallet containing his appointment certificate, his national identity card and another one belonging to his wife, an NHIF card, a KCB Atm card, a Britam towers access card, and Ksh 2,000 in cash.
The robbers then demanded additional money from the two and shot the police, forcing him to draw his Ceska Pistol and shoot one of the robbers dead while the other escaped with bullet wounds.
When Pangani officers and DCI officers from Starehe Sub-county arrived on the scene, they found the motorcycle that the bandits were riding as well as a pistol with six live 9mm bullets and one spent cartridge.
The deceased's body was sent to City Morgue while the police continued to look for the other suspect who fled the scene injured.
