Bayern Munich Poacher Robert Lewandowski celebrates his goal against VFL Bochum

Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski has just been awarded with the European Golden Boot adding another prestigious award to his personal accolades.

The Polish apex predator bagged a mind boggling 41 goals in 29 games last season despite missing 6 games due to injury. He managed to outscore the likes of Argentinean talisman Leo Messi and Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo alias 'CR7'.

Last year the 33 year-old missed out the award by a whisker to Italian striker Ciro Immobile who amassed a whopping 14 penalties but nonetheless the feat wasn't to be repeated this season and Europe's most prolific Centre Forward took the award home.

Lewandowski had a great season beating German and Bayern Munich legend Gerd Mullers record that stood for 49 years despite missing an entire month due to a knee injury.

Lewy's impeccable form and goal contribution was immense averaging 1.50 goals over 90 mins. The Polish star only failed to find the back of the net in 4  occasions and scored in more than 10. He went on to claim his 6th Bundesliga top scorer Cannon.

'Lewangaolski' haul is the highest in Europe since CR7s of 48 goals in 14/15 season.

Former Eintracht Frankfurt and current RB LEIPZIG Andre Silva managed 27 as Borussia Dortmunds'  potent Norwegian poacher Erling Haaland scored 28 together with Paris Saint Germain Golden Boy Kylian Mbappe wrapped up the European Golden Shoe top 5.

We all expect and hope that France Football will pay their debt and give 'Lewangoatski' the Ballon D'OR as he truly deserves it. They just cannot afford to ignore this man any longer.
