Ronaldo Makes History by Hitting 500M Instagram Followers
Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and captains the Portugal national team, Cristiano Ronaldo has made history as he has now hit 500 million Instagram followers on his account.

He is now the top most followed person in the world with television star, Kylie Jenner following him closely with 372 million Instagram followers.
On his Instagram account, Ronaldo follows 523 people while he has shared a total of 3,396 posts on his page. The football star also seems to have genuine followers as his posts hit not less than a million likes. One of his most recent photos broke the internet as it gained a total of more than 35 million likes.
In the picture, Cristiano Ronaldo and his fellow player, an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a forward for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and captains the Argentina national team, Lionel Andrés Messi featured to be part of a partnership with fashion giants Louis Vuitton.
Both legends were seen playing chess on a Louis Vuitton briefcase and both wrote the caption, "Victory is a State of Mind. A long tradition of crafting trunks..." part of the caption read.
According to reports, the briefcase seen in the picture was part of the 2018 World Cup in Russia. The fact that they are playing chess on the briefcase that holds the World Cup essentially represents the battle to cement their place as the greatest of all time.

The two football champions will also be part of the teams that will be playing in the world cup which is currently underway in Qatar. This might be possibly the last time that the duo will participate in the world cup and their fans have high hopes for them to take the trophy home.
