It took everythingthat for Max Verstappen to take a brilliant win in the intense French Grand Prix battle ahead of Lewis Hamilton and extend his championship lead on Sunday.

Verstappen had to come from behind to pull a miraculous win against starman Lewis Hamilton thanks to his Redbull's team gambling on his lead for an extra pit stop for fresh tyres.
Despite Verstappen being gifted the first place due to Hamilton's mistake at the corner, the Redbull team utilized on the Mercedes strategic blunder for leavingHamilton out one lap too long which he lost the lead.
"Congratulations to Max, he did a great job. I am happy with the result, unfortunately I lost the position but it was still a great race. We have got to dig deep and find some pace" said Lewis after the race.
