Famous Gikuyu musician's brother Basilio Ngunjiri is dead, barely a week after the artist Albert Gacheru succumbed. 

Ngunjiri's demise was communicated by his family on Thursday, April 8 (today). The late reportedly succumbed to an ailment he had been nursing for quite some time.

Following the two brothers' deaths, Kenyans flocked the social media to mourn them. Kenyans wished the duo's departed souls to rest in peace, while God comforts the bereaved family.

Albert Gacheru stole public attention in the 1990s when he sang his track Mwendwa Wakwa Mariru. The artist also returned to class in 2016 by enrolling at Mount Kenya University for Law Degree.
