Liverpool's forward Roberto Firmino celebrates his equalizer against Watford. The Brazilian bagged a hat-trick in a one sided show.

Memories of 44th street were all but a fairy tale for Claudio Ranieri's men as Liverpool's front 3 caused havoc in a 5-0 thumping of Watford at Vicarage Road.

Liverpool were off to inflict damage from the get go as on-form Egyptian Pharaoh Mo Salah rattled the crossbar in the first minute but it was ruled out for offside. Danny Rose day in the office was one to forget as the former Spurs man was chasing ghosts all game long as Mo Salah deemed too good for the aging Left Back. Nightmare in Elm Street begun in the 9th min when Mo Salah teed up Sadio Manè with a beautiful curled trivela and the Senegalese slotted the ball home past Watford keeper Ben Foster becoming only the third player after Les Ferdinand and Emile Heskey to join the 100 club without a single penalty.

Bobby Firmino scored Liverpool's second of the day after starting the counter and slotting it home with a tap-in courtesy of Skipper James Milner.

Watford were chasing ghosts all half long and were lucky to head off the break only two nil down. Mo Salah began the second half forcing off a save of Ben Foster with his trademark cut in curler. Firmino added his second of the day from the six yard area as Watford Centre Back intercepted Andrew Robertson's cross forcing  Ben Foster to pull off a save but the ball found it's way to Bobby's feet and the Brazilian had the post to himself.

Barely two mins later Mo Salah pulled off magical piece of trickery, retained the ball with close precision dribbles, sat down multiple defenders before he released a curler to the far left corner leaving close to half of the Watford players bamboozled and mesmerized by what they had just seen. Messi-ique display ifyou ask me.

Firmino then wrapped up the match with a tap-in at stoppage time to mark a spectacular showing by the Reds.

The result leaves Liverpool at the pinnacle of the league table with 18 points, 11 clear of todays opponents Watford who currently lie at 15th place with seven points.
