SC Ahmednasir Reveals President Kenyatta's Position in the Presidential Petition
Taking to his Twitter account, the Senior Counsel, Ahmednasir Abdullahi has today revealed crucial information about President Uhuru Kenyatta's position in the presidential petition submitted to the Supreme Court on August 22, 2022.
According to his post, President Uhuru plays a more prominent role in the decision of the filed case. Not even the Azimio presidential candidate, Raila Odinga, and the President-elect, William Ruto have a closer chance to his.
Ahmednasir also hinted that this might be the only chance to stop the declared President-elect from taking over the government.
Outgoing President Kenyatta has bigger stake in the outcome of the Presidential petition before the Supreme Court than both President Elect William Ruto and Hon Raila...the case present the last desperate/suicidal chance to stop President Ruto. Uhuru looms large over the case.

Kenyans have also been eagerly waiting to hear President Uhuru Kenyatta's comments after his deputy, William Ruto was declared by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) chairman, Wafula Chebukati on August 15, 2022, as the winner of the August 9 general elections. Uhuru was only seen urging Kenyans to maintain peace after the United States leaders paid him a visit to State House.
Raila Odinga, has exuded confidence in his ability to win the presidential petition. The ODM leader told Mombasa citizens on Wednesday that it would be difficult for those who plotted to steal his triumph to escape punishment this time.
"Ushindi wetu haitapotea hivi hivi, kitaeleweka mahakamani," Raila stated.
The presidential candidate for Azimio la Umoja was accompanied by his running mate Martha Karua and other Azimio-aligned leaders. Prior to next week's elections, the crew was in Mombasa to mobilize support for Abdulswamad Nassir, the Azimio party's candidate for governor.
