Senator Wamatangi Embarks on Fatherly Duties of Abandoned Daughter
Kiambu County Senator Paul Kimani alias Wamatangi has finally decided to own up his fatherly duties of his alleged abandoned daughter whom he sired with his ex-domestic worker Winfred Wangui Kimani.

According to Wangui her baby daddy Wamatangi has reportedly sent Sh7,000 as part of her daughter’s school fees barely a year after fresh expose for abandonment.
Wangui also added that the money is not enough as the girl is set to join Form One in August at Starehe Girls High School and the school fees required is Sh53,554.
“He has been using other people to reach me but has not been receiving my calls. He sent ksh7,000 using a new phone number with another name but the sender told us it came from Wamatangi.”
The senator was put on the spot for allegedly abandoning his fatherly duties towards his daughter who was born on April 23rd, 2007.

Wamatangi is said to have sired the minor with Wangui after he sexually assaulted her on July 18th, 2006.
However, the accused in his affidavit stated that he had never had intercourse with Wangui, labelling her an extortionist.
“I have never had carnal knowledge of the plaintiff. I am not the biological father to the minor herein, I have never seen the minor and I do not know of her existence. I have nothing to do with this suit which is meant to extort money from me. I have never employed the plaintiff. Her allegations are malicious and unwarranted and only meant to embarrass and cause me injury and damage.”
