Senior Al-Shabab Operative Murdered in a Military Operation
Somalia Army Chief, Brigadier General Odowa Yusuf Raghe, on Sunday 4th July, stated that the top Al-Shabab operative was killed in a military operation.

On his report, the army officer stated identified the deceased as ohamed Abdi Sabriye aka Tosow who was the top operative based in the Middle Shabelle region, north of Mogadishu.
“The operation was conducted in a location called Dar-ul-Salaam in Adan Yabal district (about 120 km northeast of Mogadishu),” said the general, indicating that Sabriye was an apex organizer of the jihadist militants in the region.
The army said Sabriye was murdered in the cause of the month.
