The Belgian coach Patrick Aussems was disappointed with the silly errors that his side made and hoped that they learned from the shock to keep their title hopes alive.

“We made some grave mistakes that cost us the match. The second goal killed us. We missed out on an opportunity to ascend to the top of the league," said Aussems.

Bidco scored their first goal in the 7th minute through Alex Juma’s close-range shot through the Leopard’s defense to the back of the net before surviving two scares within the 33rd minute from Fabrice Mgheni who hit the crossbar as Robinson Kamura watched his rebound tipped out by Edwin Mukolwe for a corner.

Peter Munzuki doubled the lead in the 41st minute from a set-piece with a low-driven thunderbolt from the edge of the box.

In the 61st minute, the home side added the third goal from a set-piece cross through David Orem to put the scores beyond doubt.

It took 80 minutes for the Ingwe to score a consolation goal through second-half substitute Bienvenue Shaka to remain at the third position behind league leaders Tusker who comfortably beat Vihiga United 4-0 at Mumias Complex.
