Kenya Premier League club AFC leopards have been given green light to sign new players after FIFA concluded the case involving Rwandese defender and the club.

AFC leopards had been banned from signing new players after their defender Soter Kayumba wrote to FIFA indicating that the club owed the player Ksh  1.8 million in dues.

The case filed by Kayumba prompted FIFA to ban AFC leopards from signing new players and also not using the newly signed ones.

In a ruling FIFA  stated when Kayumba filed he s complaint,  both parties were engaged on the reasons and the player did give his response in time so that the case could proceed after the matter was taken to arbitration.

The membership submitted its defense to the arbitrator and Soter [Kayumba] was given a set time to reply. Nonetheless, the participant did not submit his response in time.

The membership has therefore been cleared of the case as communicated by Fifa to each event’’ Said the FIFA committee.

Patrick Aussems’  side is now free to use their new signings in their subsequent matches as they have won six matches and lost six

The team is looking to continue their winning streak after being denied to use their signings by FIFA.
