In our society today children with autism are identified as problems on mother's anxiety and depression. Autism spectrum disorder has uniquely stigmatizing aspects because children with (ASD) have no physical markers on their condition. Parents are usually blamed and judged by others is often internalized.

ASD is becoming more prevalent in society and it affects more in males than females. 

Studies confirmed that any child disability have greater impact upon mother than the father . Developmental disorder of variable severity that is characterized by difficulty in social interaction and communication by restricted and repetitive patterns.

The relationship on behavioral problems lead to increase in parental stress and this has an adverse effect on outcome of behavioral intervention.

Parents of children with ASD have significant higher divorce rates than families without disabilities.

Siblings of persons with autism have greater genetic vulnerability for cognitive social and learning difficulties. It is reported having brother or sister with ASD have high level of loneliness and problems with their peers.
