Wetangula further questioned Karua's importance in the Azimio la Umoja coalition despite being in the 'deep state' and the 'system.

"How many votes did her Presidential candidate get in her polling station, despite the deep state & system?" Wetangula posed.

Wetangula further urged Karua to be patient and wait for the court's final judgment on the presidential petition which they submitted on August 22, 2022, at the Supreme Court of Kenya.

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) announced the final results of the election and revealed that Deputy President William Ruto won the most votes in Martha Karua's polling place in Gichugu's Mugumo Primary School in Kirinyaga County.

According to the results, Ruto received 911 votes overall from the three streams, compared to 311 votes cast in favor of Raila Odinga.

According to Raila and Karua, 21 people, 19 foreigners, and two Kenyans, with access to the technology of the electoral agency manipulated the 2022 presidential election well before August 9.

The two additionally claimed that rigging started in March 2022 as a result of foreigners hacking into and messing with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission's (IEBC) systems.

Odinga and Karua assert that the meddling led to manipulation and alteration of voter turnout and Kiems kit data on election day and the consequent announcement of William Ruto as the winner. They do not name the people they think were part in the plot.
