In the message, Kangogo blames her actions on her failed marriage that drove a wedge between her and her family, she claims in the text: “depression is real pleased… assist those you know my divorce pushed me to be inhuman, my father disowned me due to my failed marriage.”

Kangogo claims that her ex-husband called her family and gave one side of the story to cover up for his mistakes.

In the text message, Caroline claims to have gone to Mombasa where the former husband, a police officer works, and saw him being picked and dropped from work but spared his life due to compassion for her two children.

With the intention to take her life she texted: ‘to my parents am requesting to be cremated to end your suffering,’

It however continues to read if at all she will be buried it should be done in her father’s land and not the husband’s.

In a suicidal message, she also asks her family to bury her in a white wedding gown as her husband’s philandering ways made it impossible for them to have a church wedding.

Though she did not give a reason for killing police constable John Ogweno in Nakuru, she refers to him as the love of her life, the text says ‘our love was made in heaven that’s why since Monday, a day after the incident, you always embrace me with love and forgiveness and tell me it is well with your soul despite living in separate worlds.’

As for the murder of Peter Ndwiga, the man seen with her on CCTV at a Githurai Kimbo hotel, she had no apologies to make.

She wrote… ‘I don’t owe anyone an apology. He conned me Ksh.1.5 million shillings whereby ksh300,000 I borrowed from my father’s retirement benefits…then he arrogantly tells me he isn’t paying, and I even found him with a new Probox,”

She also claimed to have suffered at the hands of a Senior Nakuru Police officer who she accuses of harassment in her text.
