Super Metro Bus Causes Havoc along Ngong Road Route
The entry of the Super Metro bus into the Ngong road route is currently creating a lot of chaos and disturbances this morning as hundreds of commuters remain stranded due to ongoing strike amongst matatu drivers and touts plying to that route.

The matatus are protesting against the Metro bus entering into Nairobi Ngong road which had been originally operating along Kikuyu road.
According to Kenyans on Twitter {KOT}, the move by the super metro bus is to clear off rogue matatu SACCOs from the road and make sure that all citizens pay fair bus transport unlike before.

However, commuters are now advised to use alternative means to avoid inconveniences that might be caused this morning.

The emergence of covid 19 attributed to matatus fares hiking up to beyond commuter’s affordability.
This was due to the covid 19 measures that were put in place by the Ministry of Health CS Mutahi Kagwe of maintaining 1 .5-meter distance while n the matatus. This happened to be advantageous to some of the matatus owners as they had to double or triples the price to meet their daily targets.

This has for long-time affected road commuters and perhaps now it has to come to an end due to the Super Metro bus which is beginning to take its cause in all the routes in Nairobi and its environs.
