Repercussions From Azimio la Umoja Demonstrations

The Azimio la Umoja demonstrations took place in different parts of the country. The begining of what seemed to be a peacefull protests, it later on turned chaotic. The protestors disrupted businesses and lit tires along roads. Journalists who were recording the sence were left injured and some of their cameras broken.
Raila Odinga, who is the leader of Azimio, had served the police a notice concerning the protests. The Inspector General, Koome had warned them severally against demonstrating but to no avail. The president and his deputy had also shared their views regarding the protests. The leaders have cursed the repercussions that are as a result from the demos.
From the Thursday Demonstrations, protestors in Kisumu went as far as burning down UDA offices in the county. Traffic was delayed by the protestors who burned tires along the road in some parts of Mathare and Siaya.
Regardless of the chaos, the supporters have vowed to continue with the demonstrations until their decries are solved.
