The Announcement of DP Ruto As The Most "Secured" DP Raise Eyebrows

The Announcement made by the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and Coordination of National Government, Dr. Fred Matiang'i, on Wednesday, September 1 declaring Deputy President, William Ruto as the most guarded Deputy President raised the eyebrows of many Kenyans on Social Media.

Kenyans On Twitter (KOT) expressed different reactions to the announcement of the number of Ruto's security officers made by Matiang'i.

Matiangiexposed William Ruto as the most secured deputy president with 257 police officers.

Kenyans on Twitter are now in a dilemma if such a secured person can consider the 'hustlers" if chosen as the fifth president of Kenya.

They added that Ruto is only using the security issue to gain "sympathy votes"

Gabriel Oguda - "Matiang'i says DP Ruto's inner security layer has 74 Presidential Escort Unit officers, 5 GSU Drivers, and 6 DCI officers. Have you seen Mama Mboga ama mtu wa mkokoteni hapo? Jiheshimu nani."

Mzee Kibor Patron - "Omogusii Fred Matiang'i has exposed how our son Deputy President William Ruto grabbed properties and assigned police officers to protect them. From Weston hotel to Laikipia ranch, Eldoret and Transmara ruto used his position to loot and now he claims to want to help Kenyans.Shenzi"

"Thank you Fred Matiang`i for exposing Sugoi Hustler bonoko. 257 police officers for one person!" KOT added.

Ruto's supporters, however, were not left out as they are now calling for the cabinet secretary to list on the website every property of his fellow government officers protected by police including statistics on acres and hectares.
