Three cops killed in bandit attack
On Thursday during a bandit attack, three police officers were killed and six others injured in Laikipia Nature Conservancy in Laikipia County.

According to the police report the officers were on patrol when they were ambushed at a place called Kenya Mpya where there was a barricade on the road. A shoot-out ensued and an armored personnel carrier was sent for reinforcement but it overturned leading to four injuries and two fatalities.
"The gunshot/accident injuries; six in number, were evacuated by a patrol team to Ngoisusu multi-agency camp where they were given first aid and they were airlifted to Nanyuki airstrip where they were connected to an AMREF aircraft to Nairobi for treatment and management," reads the polic report.
