Two More Covid-19 Deaths, 112 New Cases, 1,183,212 Cumulative Tests
Despite lessening cases, the Health Ministry has remained hesitant in declaring the Covid-19 curve flattening. The nation has continued to record a low number of cases.
Today Kenya added to its infection toll another 112 cases out of 5,401 samples subjected to tests in the last 24 hours.
In total, Kenya now has 100,675 cases, drawn from 1,183,212 that have been tested since the first case struck the nation in mid-March 2020.
Out of today's infections, 101 are citizens, while 11 are from other nations. The youngest of the patients is 4 years while the oldest is 76.
34 more patients recovered while sadly two more others died, pushing the death toll to 1,755. Currently, there are 481 patients in various hospitals countrywide.
1,370 others are on home-based care. Out of the hospital admissions, 26 are critically ill, with 14 under the Intensive Care Unit, and the other 12 under oxygen support.
Nairobi continues leading with the highest number of infections having reported 68 today.
