Two Perish In Road Accident After Robbing M-Pesa Shop
Two alleged robbers got involved in a road accident in Tiwi Sokoni, Kwale County and were instantly killed after their speeding motorcycle collided with a school bus.

The two were involved in an accident while escaping on a motorcycle shortly after robbing a M-Pesa store.
Hassan Godana, the chief of police in Matuga, claims that the two died instantly after colliding with the accelerating school bus.
He said the two robbers had stolen a phone from an M-Pesa shop
They rode into the highway without looking for oncoming vehicles since they were riding fast to get away from the residents who were pursuing them.
“They got on the motorcycle and sped off when locals started chasing after them. They then rode into the highway without checking whether there was an oncoming vehicle and immediately got hit by the bus,” Godana said.
According to the police report, the Shimoni Secondary school which got involved was traveling from Msambweni to the Likoni neighborhood.
Luckily, the police reported that nobody was hurt inside the bus.
According to the police commander, the identities of the two gangsters were yet to be determined at the time.
Meanwhile, their bodies were taken to Kwale Hospital Mortuary.
In Kwale County, robberies with motorbike escapes are frequent occurrences, with mobile money businesses being the preferred targets.
However, Godana reported that no serious events were recorded after the concluded general elections.
