Coach Fred Kajoba who parted ways with Vipers SC on Monday, is ranked the longest serving coach in the club.

Before his stint at Vipers, Kajoba had coached Bright Stars for a period of seven years and helping it to rise up to be the best club in the Ugandan Premier League.

Vipers won the league title in 2019/20 season despite of him taking over from the last seven games. He has left the Venoms when they are two points behind leaders Express FC in the league this season and in the quarterfinals of the Uganda Cup.

Kajoba silenced his critics who underrated him since they never believed that he would perform well due to highest expectations. However, he has proved them wrong by posting the best performance than his predecessors.

The straight forward talking tactician led the Venoms to win 23 games out of 40 he took part in all competitions, losing just 8 and drawing 9. This translates to a 57.5%.

In the 33 games of the league, he won 20, drew 8 and lost 6. The remaining seven matches came from the Uganda Cup where Vipers won 5 and lost 2.

He was defeated by Al Hilal in the preliminary stage of the CAF Champions League in an aggregate result of 2-0.

Vipers scored 76 goals in 40 matches in all competitions, conceding 30 goals and maintaining 18 clean sheets.

• 7 league games: won 3, lost 1 and drew 3. Goals For 10, Goals Against 5.

(2) 2020/21 season.

• 26 League games: won 17, lost 5 and drew 4. Goals For 56, Goals Against 21.

• 2 CAF Champions League games: won 0, lost 2 and drew none. Goals For 0, Goals Against 2.

• 5 Uganda Cup games: won 3, lost 0 and drew 2. Goals For 10, Goals Against 4.
