Uganda`s President Museveni Congratulates Ruto on his Win
Uganda`s head of state Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Tuesday 16th August congratulated Deputy President William Ruto for winning the August 9th general election after he emerged as the newly Kenya's president-elect.

"On behalf of all Ugandans, I congratulate Your Excellency @WilliamsRutoupon your election as the 5th President of the Republic of Kenya" he stated.
Museveni also added that he reassured Ruto of Uganda’s commitment to continue partnering with Kenya in advancing regional and continental agenda through the East African Community, African Union, and other multilateral platforms.
"Further to my telephone call last night upon your victory, I wish to reassure you of Uganda’s commitment to continue partnering with Kenya in advancing regional and continental agenda through the East African Community, African Union, and other multilateral platforms".
The Uganda's commander in Chief further noted that Kenya and Uganda`s bilateral cooperation will score tremendous achievements and he is looking forward to working with Ruto.
"Our bilateral cooperation will score tremendous achievements and I look forward to working more closely with you. God bless Kenya. God bless East Africa. Y.K. Museveni President of the Republic of Uganda". He added.
