Former Presidential Delivery Unit Deputy Director of Communications Laban Cliff Onserio has become standards new chief of Standard Media. This position has never existed before this at Standard Media and he will also take on the role of an anchor. Laban Onserio has recently been in the news for being one of the Kenyans who participated in the World Rally Championships. His responsibilities will mainly be leading the media company's efforts in administrative communications, government relations, and partnerships with stakeholders.
He received this offer just after he resigned from being the president's PDU.A
In the World Rally Championships in Kenya, He was to be the co-driver to Smith in a Ford Fiesta Car. Even though originally he was to be a co-driver to State House Chief of Staff Nzoika Waita.Before becoming the Presidential Delivery Unit Deputy Director he has worked at NTV and Safaricom. He pointed out that one of the moments he enjoyed being PDU was when he was part of the team that went with the president across the country and got first-hand perspectives on how these projects are actually impacting the citizens. This is because the stories gave him the sense that there was also a lot of potential in the country.
He was very excited when the President brought the World Rally back to Kenya after 19-years which was very close to Onserio's heart.
