Kenya Revenue Authority has issued a thirty-day ultimatum for the Shisha pipes, sex toys, and drones that have been abandoned at the JKIA Airport warehouse. In a statement, Ms. Lilian Nyawanda Commissioner for Customs and Border Control at the Kenya Revenue Authority said that many Kenyans ordered these items before they were made legal in the Kenyan market.

She added A huge pile-up of the restricted items at the JKIA customs warehouses has now become a concern with the taxman giving importers a notice to clear them by the end of this month. She told the Business daily that most passengers are uniformed on the prohibition laws and restrictions that are put in place for these kinds of items.

KRA has given members of the public until the 30th of September to come forward and claim these items otherwise they will be auctioned. The list of items gives Kenyans a glimpse of how the intimate lives of Kenyan youths, have transformed.
