UPDATE: Slaughtered Ruiru Lady was Strangled
Fresh details have now revealed that the lady whose body was found dumped in a suitcase outside the GSU Recce station in Ruiru, Kiambu County was strangled before her body was mutilated into pieces.

This is according to a postmortem that was conducted and released on Friday 21st by Dr. Simon Omuok.
The pathologist who performed the autopsy at City Mortuary, also stated that the deceased who was also identified as Esther Wambui was also struck in the head with a blunt instrument.
Reports by this publication indicate that the 18-year-old Wambui was a waitress at a local eatery earning sh. 300 daily.
According to CCTV footage that was taken from the local eatery she worked, indicated that she left for home at 8.30 pm on Sunday, January 9.
Due to the insecurity in the region where they resided, her husband Joseph Ngige said he normally escorted Wambui to work and would also pick her up at the end of her shift.
Ngigi told detectives that he escorted Wambui to work at 5.40 a.m. on Sunday, January 16, but that because it was dark and the day had already broken, he went home.
Wambui was seen leaving work for home at 8.30 p.m. on Sunday, but Ngigi did not pick her up that day. It is since then that she went missing.
Her body was later found on the roadside on Monday, January 17 with her body parts disfigured into pieces.
Her hands and legs were bound, and her left breast had been cut off. Her neck was wrapped in a nylon rope.
Her breast had writings "Bwana wa Mtu ni Sumu" a message that Detectives investigating the case believed the woman was accosted by her assailants, who raped her before killing her.
“We believe the messages written on her body were meant to distract investigations,” an officer aware of the matter said.
Additionally, Justus Ombati, the head of DCI in Ruiru, believes the woman was slain somewhere and dumped alongside the tightly guarded GSU Recce Squad station's outer wall.
However, the police gathered samples in order to undertake additional investigations into Wambui`s death whom they also believe was sexually molested by her killers before being murdered.
