The White House on Wednesday 7th July condemned the evil attack that took place at the Haiti President`s resident that left him dead and his wife Martine Moise critically injured.

According to the White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, she called the execution of Haiti's president Jovenel Moise "horrific".

The United States has also stated that it is ready to help in investigations to comb out the assassins that were behind the 1 AM killing.

"We will be helpful in any way to the people of Haiti, to the government of Haiti if there's an investigation," she said, adding that the White House was "still gathering information" and that President Joe Biden would be briefed on the incident shortly.

This comes at a time the Government of the Dominican Republic on Wednesday 7th July, ordered the "immediate closure" of its border with Haiti after the killing of the Head of state of the neighboring country, Jovenel Moise.

Well, interim prime minister Claude Joseph stated he will be in charge of the country and urged the public to remain calm while insisting the police and army would ensure the population's safety.

"The president was assassinated at his home by foreigners who spoke English and Spanish," Joseph said.

 The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party Boris Johnson sent his condolences to the Family of Jovenel and his citizens.
