VIDEO: Kangubiri Highschool Students Walks out of School after Failed Torching Plans

Kangubiri Girls high school students in Nyeri County on Saturday 6th  were sent back home after their plans to torch down the school failed.

According to Tetu Sub County director of education Gitonga Ndeke, over 1,000 students were sent home after their plans to raze down some of the buildings in the school failed.

Ndeke also added that the students allegedly contributed Ksh.1200 each to go and purchase petrol to accomplish their mission.

It is believed that the students had sent an unidentified man for the fuel errand.

However, the man is said to have switched off his phone after receiving the money, further scampering the girls’ plan.

“The girls wanted to burn the school’s food store but the petrol was not delivered as agreed,” he said.
