VIDEO: Man Interrupts IEBC Wafula Chebukati`s Meeting with Presidential Candidates

A man who has been identified as Julius Kamau was carried away from Windsor hotel on Wednesday 29th June after creating a disturbance during a meeting between the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) and presidential candidates.

Julius who was armed with a banner, took to the floor as the IEBC CEO, Marjan Hussein Marjan, was addressing the presidential contestants.

However, Security officers were forced to intervene to calm down the situation. They moved in swiftly and whisked him away.

Apparently, this is not the first time Julius has disrupted a Chebukati-called meeting. The activist attempted to disrupt the IEBC chairperson's speech at Bomas of Kenya on May 23.

He approached the IEBC Chair and claimed that Kenyans were living like slaves in their own country despite their independence.

"They have stolen our future, they have stolen our country. We cannot continue living like slaves in our own country. Our fathers fought and died trying to free this nation from the shackles of colonialism," Kamau lamented.

A police officer, assisted by three other guys, intercepted the angry man and whisked him out of the hall while he continued to shout.
