VIDEO: The Numbers Continue to Change and Are in Favour of Raila, Says CS Mucheru

During an interview with a media station in Kenya, the ICT Cabinet Secretary, Joe Mucheru came out to clearly state the changes experience in the number of voters supporting Azimio leader, Raila Odinga.

According to CS Mucheru, Raila is coasting towards victory in the August 2022 polls.

According to ICT Cabinet Secretary Joe Mucheru, Odinga has a 64 percent approval rating in opinion polls.

Mucheru also predicts Odinga will receive 50% of the votes cast in Central Kenya.

Mucheru, on the other hand, did not rate the percentage points of the other three candidates in the race: Deputy President William Ruto, George Wajackoyah, and Wahiga Mwaure.

Mucheru also defended Interior Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho, who recently gave Odinga a 60 percent approval rating.

However, in a rebuttal, Ruto has stated that he is ahead of Odinga by an 8 percent margin. The ratings, according to Ruto, were forwarded to him by the National Intelligence Service (NIS).

Mucheru stated during the interview that Gachagua's priorities were misplaced and that he was ignoring critical issues such as advocating for more roads and hospitals.

"He is a friend of mine, we come from Nyeri. I can say he has been a great blessing to us in Azimio whenever he opens his mouth to speak. These ICT people, when you are telling them you are going to break up a (communications company) because big companies are bad, what kind of thinking is that," Mucheru stated.

On a lighter note, Mucheru stated that he was a member of the 'Give Gachagua the Mic' gang, claiming that whenever the MP speaks, it is a loss for DP William Ruto's camp.

Mucheru also claimed that every time Gachagua speaks, he receives criticism from some quarters for making controversial statements, some of which are directed at the very voters he is attempting to win over.
