The event transpired on Wednesday afternoon, and the rider was joined by a companion who was dressed in a black t-shirt and a cap.

The combo was seen strolling up to the counter before pulling a revolver from their rucksack and pointing it at the cashier.

The ten people in the shop at the time were completely unaware of what was going on until the rider cocked the weapon.

When the fire weapon was discovered, most of the occupants hid behind the counter, while others fled to the other rooms. A customer wearing a white shirt was also observed hurrying out the door.

Other victims were seen crawling on the floor and others lying down in fear.

Even when his accomplice in a helmet and a reflector jacket leapt over the counter in an attempt to collect the money, the rider pretended to demand for cash.

The combo, however, appeared to be frustrated by their victim's hysterics and opted to flee before collecting their loot.

Following that, the rider exited the premises while still carrying the gun, signaling his counterpart that it was time to depart.

Even while online users urged the authorities to catch the offenders and bring them to justice, police had yet to comment on the issue.

The incident also comes after President Uhuru Kenyatta ordered the National Police Service to pause the Boda Boda crackdown after the Forest Road incident to allow for more dialogue with various stakeholders in the transportation industry.

Do you think that these guys were really bodaboda riders, or was it just a way of bringing the bodaboda issue back to the spotlight?
