Muthama stated that they are confident that Wafula Chebukati will conduct fair and free elections for Kenyans.

He also urged other politicians to give Chebukati sufficient time to complete his work without constant threats.

" I want to state without fear of contradiction that we believe in IEBC. They are Kenyans and we believe they will deliver the expected results because it's their duty and work," stated Muthama.

"We should all trust them to do their job the same way we trust other leaders. Nobody should take themselves to be more special than the others," he added.

He also warned leaders not to incite Kenyans during their campaigns, instead, to preach peace.

Muthama had met with over 600 teachers from Matungulu and Kangundo sub-counties, who had promised to support his bid.

They promise to mobilize locals to vote for him because they trust his leadership.

Muthama also confirmed that the school feeding program he started a few weeks ago was still in operation.
