Reports by Russian experts Regis Gente and Mikhail Rubi indicate that the bodyguards have been performing the exercise in an attempt to stop foreign spies from discovering information about his health. The claim was made in a report from Russian experts Regis Gente and Mikhail Rubin

The Federal Protection Service, which is in charge of protecting Putin and other government officials, is in charge of collecting Putin's feces.

Each time Putin needs to go for a bathroom call, an FSO agent stores his feces in a customized packet that may be sent to Russia in a suitcase.

The same practice was carried out during Putin's visit to France on May 29, 2017, and during his October 2019 trip to Saudi Arabia.

A video obtained during Putin's trip to France in 2019 showed Putin being escorted into a lavatory by six suited guys from his entourage. One of them was spotted leaving the bathroom with a little briefcase, the contents of which were unknown.

The strategy appears to be an attempt to minimize the chance of foreign countries learning information about Putin's health or proclivity for future diseases that could be stored in his DNA.

It is believed that the bodyguards have been carrying out the practice for years.

However, In the aftermath of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, speculation has grown that Putin, who has recently missed a series of regular occasions, is ill, with various sources claiming that he is being treated for a variety of serious diseases.

Experts speaking to Insider have questioned those claims, stating that there is no reliable evidence that Putin is ill.
