It is said that people believed to be police officers claimed were taking the brothers for interrogation.

One of the wives of the two brothers, Beatrice Wanjiru, who is Motari’s wife, was present when the incident took place.

The two narrated the happenings at the event in an interview on Tuesday, March 23. They displayed photos of their husbands seeking information that would help locate them.

The wives of the two brothers have therefore asked the police to help them find and bring them back, whether dead or alive.

"We want our husbands back, dead or alive," said Beatrice.
