Albanian forward Armando Broja and his current club Chelsea are ready to begin negotiations over the new contract which will help him to be included to the Premier League squad for the 2021/22 season.

The extension of the contract which is due to expire next summer will let Chelsea’s coach Thomas Tuchel to have a new option in the forward position due to the likelihood of Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud departing from Stamford Bridge in the coming transfer window, over claims that they receive little play time.

The 19-year old signed professional terms with Chelsea on 26, February 2020. However, he moved to Netherlands and signed a season-long loan with Vitesse Arnhem on 21, August 2020.

In his debut season, he scored 11 goals in 36 games, playing a key role in their fourth-place finish in the Eredivisie.

Armando made his professional debut in 2020 under Frank Lampard in a 4-0 victory at home against Everton.

He played his first international game in for the Albanian national team in 7, September 2020 against Lithuania at home where they lost 1-0.

In May 2021, Broja was included in the squad which lost 2-0 to England.
