School Closes Due to Increased Lesbianism Cases

Noonkopir Girls Secondary school in Kajiado county has had to close indefinately due to the high rise in lesbianism cases.Apparently, there was a lesbianism club that forced students to join by "Beating them up".
Parents are now blaming teachers for being silent. In addition, parents are complaining that the students were left alone without a teacher or a matron in control. The parent claims that some men had gone to the school through a porous fence.
Martin Cheruyot, the County Directer of Education said that he is making a follow up on the case but has not gotten any responses so far. He is set to have a meeting with the school`s board of directors to get the full story.
