Ghana Top Artists Wale & Medikal Granted Ksh 11M Bail
Shatta Wale, a reggae/dancehall artiste, and Medikal, a hip-hop singer, were each given 11,115,000.00 Kenyan Shilling cash bail after appearing before an Accra Circuit Court to continue their legal battles.

Singer Charles Nii Armah Mensah alias Shatta Wale was arrested and charged by the court for the publication of false news and causing fear and panic.
He turned himself in on October 19 when the police declared him as a wanted individual.
He had allegedly made up a tale about being shot and obtaining treatment, which turned out to be a fabrication.
On the other hand, rapper Samuel Adu Frimpong popularly known as Medikal was arrested for brandishing a weapon on social media and charged for unlawful display of arms and ammunition.
However, the two suspects denied charges when they made their first appearances in court.
Shatta was later remanded in custody for one week, while Medikal, was given 5 days in custody.
