“I am ready For Talks With the President, “ Says DP Ruto {VIDEO}

Kenya`s Deputy President William Ruto stated on Thursday 16th September that he is ready for talks with his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The Dp stated this during a meeting with grassroots leaders from Kandara Constituency at the Karen Residence, Nairobi County.

His statement comes barely days after religious leaders demanded them to have a talk for the country to be united once again as election periods are nearing.

The second commander in chief however praised leaders for demands to a cease-fire with the President for the sake of peace and progress of the country together.

He now claims he'll be ready to help with the reunion process whenever it's needed.

“The bishops have said that they want to mediate talks to reunite me with President Uhuru Kenyatta. I’m ready for the talks without attaching any conditions. He is my boss. I am ready without conditions any moment because we were elected by Kenyans together and they gave us the responsibilities of running the government for the stipulated time,” the DP said.

The call for DP Ruto to reunite with his boss president Kenyatta comes at a time their relationship had begun to deteriorate and president Kenyatta had dared  Ruto to resign if he was dissatisfied with the government.

"I have an agenda that I was elected on. The honorable thing to do if you are not happy with it is to step aside and allow those who want to move on to do so then take the agenda to the people," the president said.

The DP also retaliated back and said he wasn’t going to resign. He told mourners at Rashia village on the outskirts of Taveta town in Taita-Taveta.

“I am a man of vision and I have no space to retreat and the luxury to surrender,”
