Lekorei Maiyai had earlier reached out to the COTU secretary-general on Twitter in June and asked him for a job opportunity.

The 25-year-old narrated that he had attained a C plain in his KCSE but could not go to college due to a lack of school fees.

"Hello, sir. I'm Maiyani a Maasai boy from Nanyuki. I'm 25 years and I come from a humble background...I finished my KCSE in 2015 and attained a C plain. Kindly help me get a job opportunity so that I can help my parents," Maiyai pleased.

Following the message, Atwoli vowed to get back to Maiyani once he was back in the country and he kept true to his word.

Maiyani will now be joining the Sensei Institute of Technology for Plant Operator Training as well as an additional course in driving.

Happy Maiyani expressed his gratitude by saying, "Thank you so much, sir. I'm very happy. Thanks for making a turning point in my life. I wish you success always. God will continue blessing you more. I will never forget this."
