Injured Lewandowski to Miss the WC Qualifier Match against England

Poland striker Robert Lewandowski will not be playing the Wednesday night World Cup Qualifier match against England at the Wembley stadium due to knee injury.

The Bayern Munich striker limped off during the Sunday’s 3-0 win over Andorra after he scored two goals for his country.

According to reports by the Polish FA, the 32-years old striker faces up to 10 days out with ligament damage.

Lewandowski now has a race to be fit for Bayern’s Champions League quarter-final first leg against France’s Paris Saint German (PSG) in 9 days time.

Lewandowski has already returned to Germany for further treatment on the injury.
