Thika Queens win Women's Premier League
Thika Queens bagged their second Women's Premier League title after they thrashed Gaspo 3-0 in the play-offs finals on Sunday at Nakuru Agricultural Show grounds.

The 2016 Champions secured their second title through attacker Rachel Muema's strike in 38th minute and Essie Akida Mbeyu's brace in the 57th and 65th minutes.
The Queens will now represent Kenya in the inaugural Cecafa Women Championship Tournament and a win to secure participation in the Caf Women Champions League from July 17- August 11 in Nairobi.
Despite being Champions, the team also produced best Player of the Season, striker Mwanahalima 'Dogo' Jereko who also won the golden boots with 21 goals.
