Kevin Phillips has urged Manchester United not to appoint Mauricio Pochettino as a replacement for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The former Premier League footballer believes the Argentine is good at tactics but does not guarantee trophies.

Manchester United board are drawing a shortlist and reports suggest they will be sacking Ole soon. The Red Devils are looking to change things around at Old Trafford but could wait until the end of the season.

Manchester United reportedly have Brendan Rodgers, Zinedine Zidane and Erik ten Hag as the other names on the shortlist. While the Frenchman is out of a job right now, he is touted to become the next France manager after the World Cup next year.
