Kenyans Demand State Protection for Citizen Tv Investigative Journalist
Kenyans are now demanding state protection for Citizen Tv Instigative Journalist Purity Mwambia who surprised the country on Sunday 18th evening by revealing how some police officers were aiding in criminal activities in the country.
Christine Juma Mwambia named her investigation 'Silaha Mtaani' where she exposed how it was easy to obtain guns, handcuffs, and police uniforms from criminals from police officers.
Shockingly, Purity and her Crew only paid 1,000 shillings to hire handcuffs from Njoro Police Station where they were instructed to return them after 24 hours.
According to the journalist expose, a pistol was being leased at a price as low a Ksh 5,000 and an AK-47 at a price as low as Ksh10,000 to goons.

Besides a pistol was sold at Ksh 10,000 while the price of AK-47 ranged between 80,000 and 200,000 Kenyan shillings.
Kenyans online have however praised and termed her as one of the best investigative journalists in the country.
They further demanded that the journalist be highly protected and conferred with the Head of State Commendation (HSC) since her life can be in danger after revealing the secrets of the rotten cops who might decide to silence her.
