Man Strangles Wife To Death In Kakamega
A man in Likunyani, Kakamega County allegedly strangled his wife to death and turned himself in.

Area Assistant Chief Maurice Mukopi reported that during the event in Moi's Bridge's Binyenya village, Ambrose Nyongesa, the suspect, strangled Daisy Chepkurui for an unspecified cause.
"I received a call from the area Nyumba Kumi representative who informed me about the incident. I rushed to the scene to ascertain what transpired," said Mukopi.
In relation to the alleged murder of his 25-year-old wife, the 27-year-old suspect afterward turned himself in at Matunda Police Station.
Police are investigating the incident and are yet to determine the motive behind his action.
"The two have been living together for at least five months now. Police are conducting investigations to establish the motive behind the killing,"
The deceased's body has been transported to the mortuary of Kitale County Referral Hospital.
