Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has signed a new contract with the club until 2024, with the option of a further year.

Ole Gunnar joined the club as manager during the 2018-19 season and led the club to a second-place finish in the Premier League and the Europa League final last season.

The Former club striker initially stepped in as caretaker boss at Old Trafford in December 2018, replacing Jose Mourinho.

After leading Manchester United to 14 wins from 19 matches, Solskjaer was rewarded with a 3-year contract in 2019, which was set to expire at the end of the 2021/22 season.

Ole Gunnar led the club to a 3rd place Premier League finish in his first full season in charge. United finished second in the table last season and also reached the final of the Europa League, where they were beaten on penalties by La Liga side Villarreal.
