Uganda Cup 2021: BUL qualifies for semi finals despite of Proline defeat in the return leg of the quarter finals.

BUL has qualified for the semi finals through an aggregate result of 2-1 despite of 1-0 defeat by Proline in the second leg of quarter final on Monday afternoon in Kyabazinga Stadium, Bugembe.

The Jinja based club had won the previous clash by 2-0 in the game that was played at the MTN Omondi Stadium last Friday.

Proline scored their only winning goal in 41 minute through Ivan Ocholit.

The win for BUL has propelled them to the second semi final of the Uganda Cup after the 2015 edition when they lost to Sports Club Villa.

The quarter final return legs will be completed on Wednesday and Thursday. Sports Club Villa will host Vipers at the Army Military Stadium in Bombo in the Wednesday match.

The first leg between these two clubs ended in a 1-1 draw at St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.

On Thursday, two games will be played at the MTN Omondi Stadium.

In the first game of the day, Police will host Wakiso Giants at 1 pm. The second game will feature KCCA and Express at 4 pm.

Police won the first leg 3-1 at the Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium. The contest between Express and KCCA ended in a goalless draw at the Betway Mutesa II Wankulukuku stadium.

This year’s Uganda Cup final will be played at the Masindi Municipal Stadium and its hosts will be Kitara region.
