CCTV Footage Captures Police being Snatched a Phone On Camera {VIDEO}
CCTV footage captured a daring incident where a Boda Boda rider who posed as a Boda Boda operator waiting for a client, snatched a police officer`s phone before speeding off.
Christine Juma The incident is believed to had taken place at a shell Petrol station along Kangundo Road at around 10:10 am on Monday 30th August.
In the 45-second footage shared on social media, a police officer is seen chatting on his phone beside a police bus unaware of his surroundings when the rider, approached and snatched his phone before speeding off.
The shocked officer attempts to give a chase on foot before another rider appears and offers the officer a ride.
However, this shocking incident comes barely two months after a video of a traffic cop being robbed of his phone in a similar fashion while regulating traffic took place at the Roysambu roundabout on Thika Road.
Such occurrences have become increasingly regular in Nairobi recently, prompting Kenyans to urge Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambai to increase security in the capital.
